Morgan M. Morgansen - PART II
First of all, welcome to my new tumblr followers. I’ve been busy at work with something really exciting that I want to invite any musicians to be a part of: an internet collaboration with Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s production company hitRECord.org.
You can check out the first collaborative short film we made together for Sundance here. And now, there’s an amazing new short in the works and we’re gonna finish it for a screening at SXSW.
I wrote the music and now we need various people to add instruments to the score and submit their parts to hitrecord.org (check out this video for more info). Next week I’ll be editing and mixing all the contributions into the final score.
I’m so excited about this kind of collaboration - it is an amazing way to work, especially the more amazing musicians become involved… and you get paid each time the film makes money based on the percentage you contribute.
So, if you play an instrument, have a listen to the sketch score, and then record a contribution and come be a part of hitrecord.org!
I’ll keep you up to date with how it’s going :)
